Will Ferrell Back As Bush With Tina Fey’s Palin On Thursday’s “Saturday Night Live” (VIDEO)

This is classic.

Colon Powell…Who Cares?

“There can be no doubt that Saddam Hussein has biological weapons and the capability to rapidly produce more, many more.” -US Secretary of State Colin Powell, UN Security Council, February 5th, 2003.

It has been reported that Colin Powell will endorse Barak Obama.  I’m left to wonder: Why is Powell’s endorsement significant?

Over five years ago, the former Secretary of State lost every morsel of credibility following his speech arguing the case for a preemptive invasion of a sovereign nation.

Within the last two weeks he has testified for one of the most vile, partisan, corrupt politicians to ever serve in the United States Senate: Alaskan Republican Ted Stevens.

I think Obama would be best to avoid Powell’s endorsement, just look at the causes Powell has vouched for.

A complete fabrication that led us one step closer to war

This is skillful:  Insult your supporters and your detractors in one-fell statement.

Could McCain have made a less wise decision?

Christopher Hitchens Endorses Obama Citing McCain’s Demeanor

As much as I would like to dislike Christopher Hitchens and banish his writing to the virtual or an actual three dimensional rubbish bin, I just can’t allow myself to write off such a brilliant mind.  Although his holier-than-thou aura (especially for an antitheist) can grow tiresome and unattractive, I do find some of his writings regarding religion, Thomas Jefferson and George Orwell, to be wonderful.   Sans his insistence on the Iraq War being a great idea (he still doesn’t get that global jihad is not fought solely with bravado, we need to win the hearts and minds.  Even his temporary man-crush, General Petreaus, gets it.) he is one of my favourite British-American intellectuals and I do listen to what he has to say.

Today he officially endorsed Obama.  It was a rather hollow endorsement which seemed in line with how voters having been casting ballots for a long time:  Vote for the one who sucks less.   He didn’t really endorse Obama, he questioned McCain’s character to lead and displayed his utter disgust of Sarah the Barrapitcudabull.

Enough of the overview.  Just read the article it’s only a page long.

Neo-Con William Kristol:  “McCain needs to fire his campaign”

"Just show some conviction...you'll be labeled a genius"

William Kristol may be right on this one but boy has he been wrong A LOT lately. Let’s not forget leading up to the war that Kristol stated, “He’s (Saddam Hussein) got weapons of mass destruction … Look, if we free the people of Iraq we will be respected in the Arab world.”

McCain may want to pause before taking advice from the same man who said the war in Iraq will cost between $100 and $200 billion.

Hey Billy, hows the ol’ Project for the American Century coming along?  I haven’t noticed any new material in almost two years.  Lost some of your support?
